Imported from Italy, this fountain was dedicated in 1962 to the daughter and son-in-law of the late Jesse Clyde Nichols, Earl and Eleanor Nichols Allen, who died in a house fire. A young child looks up to the female bathing figure seated on a marble pedestal. The effect is a lyrical, sentimental tribute to motherhood.
