This three-story, Classical Revival building, located in downtown Kansas City, Kansas, was designed by David Burton Peterson of Rose and Peterson Architects and opened in 1925. It is a 3,500-seat multi-purpose auditorium with a permanent stage and has been used for public assemblies, concerts, and sporting events.

Plaques inside the building originally listed the names of Wyandotte County servicemen who gave their lives to World War I. Over the years, more plaques have been added to honor those lost in later wars. A Room of Silence displays pictures of the War Dead of Wyandotte County.

Inscription over the entrance reads, "DEDICATED TO THE HEROES WHO FOUGHT AND DIED FOR THEIR COUNTRY"
