Description:
"Urban Palisades" is an urban representation of a mountain range with its intersecting metal bars forming a type of landscape. Two steel posts support a bronze latticework that creates the mountainous landscape. What looks to be a stone caught in the middle of the latticework is actually cast bronze as well. The dark-green,undulating sculpture provides a contrast to the light-coloured, geometric architecture of the police station behind it. It also casts some interesting-looking shadows.
