AKA Armour Fields Fountain, Wornall and 67th Street Fountain
This fountain sits on a triangular traffic island on the west side of Wornall Road at 67th Street. It consists of an urn on top of a pedestal. There is a waterspout in middle of the urn. When the urn fills up the water falls down into the triangular, brick-lined pool below. The Armour Fields Homes Association keeps the island landscaped with flowers and shrubs. The Christ Community Church to the north makes for a dramatic backdrop for the fountain.
There has been some dispute between the Armour Fields Homes Association and the City of Kansas City over who actually owns this fountain and the traffic island but for now, the HOA takes care of it.
