Description:

This massive sculpture, it is nine feet wide and a little over fifteen feet tall, represents the heritage and vision of Olathe, Kansas. The intricate arrangement of over a thousand stainless steel pieces references the Santa Fe Trail, the railroads, Olathe Medical Center, Kansas School for the Deaf, Mid America Nazarene University and many other entities that have contributed to the history of Olathe and helped make what it is today. It sits in the southwest corner of R.R. Osborne Plaza and shares the plaza with the fountain, a large mural and another small stainless steel sculpture.
