The shape of the water drop, the olive leaves and the dove symbolize a healthy, peaceful environment. The child's open arms embrace these symbols of peace and prosperity. It is symbolic of the opportunity we have to provide our children a healthy, peaceful world, if we create it.
This sculpture is part of the International Sculpture Garden at the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens.
