Description:
At the corner of Main Street and 46th Street near Country Club Plaza is this collection of crosses. The three main crosses are constructed out of steel I-beams. The upper half to third of each of these three crosses have cutouts of geometric shapes, mostly triangular, some of which have been inset with glass of different colours. Seven other crosses, made of square steel tubing, surround the three main crosses.
The crosses create an interlocking pattern and makes it seem that the smaller crosses are embracing and supporting the larger crosses like the community coming together to embrace and support the faith and each other.
